This issue contains six regular articles on the taxonomic composition, geographical and stratigraphic distribution of the Olenidae family (Trilobita), siliceous microfossils in calcareous palaeosols in the Angastaco Formation, a new traversodontid cynodont from the Chañares Formation, kerogen from the Vaca Muerta Formation in central–western Patagonia, a new species of Cellaria (Bryozoa) from the Late Danian in Argentina, and the environmental history of the last two millennia in the central Argentine Pampas plain.

In addition, this volume includes a thematic volume entitled “South American papers on actualistic taphonomy,” edited by G. Hassan and K. Borrazo,  which contains 5 papers.
