Technical Papers

In PE-APA we are interested in publishing original works dealing with all technical aspects of paleontology, including for example works on excavation and fossil preparation, sampling, imaging, exhibition and collection, among others. Ideally, these works capture and present empirical information that could be useful in many ways for others in the field. This series of technical papers is open to everybody, and presents an ideal opportunity for the collaboration between researchers, technicians and other professionals in the various fields of paleontology.

As PE-APA articles are published under CC-BY-NC and the authors retain full copyright for their work, we consider that this is the ideal space and way to present novel techniques that the authors might have developed, or reviews and guides on other technical issues that come as a result of their experience.

These articles go through the regular peer-review process as any other regular article of PE-APA and are published continuously in their corresponding issue of PE-APA.

This special page is dedicated to our published technical papers.
