Abstract

When the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the Argentine Paleontological Association was celebrated on November 21, 1980, a series of commemorative events were held. The texts of these presentations were included in a Special Publication, with the intention of offering a synthesis of the direct and indirect, mediate and immediate origins of this challenge that 25 years ago led to the creation of the Argentine Paleontological Association.
